You can lose weight and vastly improve your state of wellness naturally if you have an easy to follow systematic weight loss program. Many people struggle with weight loss because of a natural tendency to select quick fix programs such as short term drastic diets, harmful diet pills or buying fancy exercise equipment and far too many options and variations. With new knowledge you will learn that all you really need to lose weight naturally is a willingness to change the things that are keeping you overweight, to things that promote healthy operating systems in the body.

To lose weight quickly, naturally and easily, you have to combine healthy eating habits, intentional physical activity, and a knowledge base loaded with healthy lifestyle supporting information. When you know how to be healthy and you are willing to do things different from now on, you will experience what it feels like to be healthy from the inside out. NO BANDAIDS or DELETE buttons here. To be fit, you have to know how the body works. Get educated; it is about what you know!…if you think you are sick or if you think you are well; you are usually right! To be healthy and lean, you have to eat, think and act like it is already so. You will need to continue to do this until you have made it clear in your mind that you are no longer overweight and unhealthy, but that you are now lean, strong, fit and healthy. Changing your beliefs will accelerate your results faster than any other change you will make.

Know the condition that you want your body to be in. Have a clear picture of it planted securely in your mind, and pasted on your fridge, and in your bathroom where you can see it to constantly remind yourself of who it is that you are on the inside. Soon you will begin to see the changes happening.

You can increase your metabolism by eating 5-6 small meals daily. It has been scientifically proven that by eating frequently, you will raise your body’s natural metabolism. That means your body will increasingly burn fat naturally while performing your daily activities. You can become a fat burning machine all day long and even while you sleep.

Eat fewer calories with the understanding that you need to burn more calories daily that you are taking in with your food and drink. Although you need to increase meal frequency to lose weight naturally, you must be mindful of your caloric consumption. Calories consumed must not exceed calories expended for your daily energy. Keep your meals small and cut down on dietary fats as each gram of fat contains 9 calories whereas each gram of protein and carbohydrate contains only 4 calories and each gram of alcohol contains 7 calories. There are 3500 calories in one pound.

Avoid starchy processed floury foods. These types of foods are easy to digest and turn into sugar rapidly and in turn gets converted to body fat if these sugar calories are not burned up as instant energy. It is best to skip the baking and dessert items all together and if it is processed and comes in a box, a bag or a can, it probably has little or no nutritional value to your body. Learn about nutrition, find out what type of foods are most nutrient dense and health supporting, then, understand that to be healthy you have to eat and think healthy.

Give up soft drinks and soda pop because they are only sugar and flavor. No nutrition at all. What you put into your body will be what your body becomes. Be very aware and begin right now to only put into your mouth, what you know to be what your body requires for health and optimal performance. Remember, that your body is the temple in which you are living this life; you might want to take care of it to the best of your ability.

Recognize that because of the current conditions in which we grow our food, it is necessary to supplement your diet with quality health supporting nutrition. For instance, to be able to continually get the required vitamins and minerals needed on a daily basis, we would have to eat truckloads of various fresh raw vegetables and fruits; it is more cost effective and certainly easier to ingest a multi vitamin that has the required elements in a form that is familiar to the body.

You might think that making changes to your eating habits will be difficult to implement or that you will miss your sugary food and soft drinks. You may expect to experience withdrawal symptoms or some sort of negative emotions associated with these changes, but instead of looking for those types of effects, look for increased energy levels, better sleep patterns, improved concentrating capacity and on top of all that, you will experience a firmer, healthier body. You will get that which you focus on most. Feel good knowing that you are looking good.

Is Your Body Starving for Nutrition?

The human body is an amazing system.  It makes no difference of the conditions it’s exposed to, it will always and forever continue to develop and grow for a lifetime, based on the fuel provided or the lack thereof.  Fuel, being the food/nutrition and beverage we consume along with the knowledge and experience we gather.  Supplying the best possible fuel will produce like results, supplying less than satisfactory fuel will in turn, yield unsatisfactory results.  The results are how you see yourself in the mirror, your state of health/wellness and satisfaction, along with your level of motivation, these will be the deciding factors as to whether or not your body is getting the proper nutrition for optimal growth and development or not.  If your current physical and mental function-ability is less than acceptable to you, the first issue to look at is nutritional content in your food.  Are you eating too much of some things and not enough of others? Or are you eating to feel good or to provide best possible fuel for body function?  Proper nutrition can be achieved easily when the guidelines are clear. 

Remember what Hippocrates said “Let our food be our medicine and our medicine be our food”. 

Without proper nutrition, sufficient rest and plenty of water, the results can be disabling. All people will develop any number of health and wellness challenges, some experience obesity, some suffer respiratory issues, some will experience an early onset of aging, some people end up with weak and brittle bones, some experience organ malfunction, many of those may end up with any combination of these symptoms, and then for the icing on the cake, without proper nutrition, the ability to use the mind for progressive growth and development is without question, weakened.  In other words, proper nutrition allows for the human body to feel great, look fabulous and live a long productive, active, and healthy satisfying life.  Without it, a body will develop sickness and dis-ease sooner or later.  Proper nutrition is a choice. 

Based on the fact that all bodies are composed of the same basic ingredients in any number of combinations, the results of malnutrition will also be as varied.  However, there is one common thread that runs through all bodies, that being, when given the proper nutrition the body will grow, develop, and heal itself for a long time. Now, scientific studies are telling us that our body, when taken care of in the best possible fashion, can live strong and healthy for more than a century!  Not only that, but, with proper nutrition the body can reverse the effects of poor eating and unhealthy or damaging lifestyle habits.

Food and nutrition are not always one in the same, though it can and should be.  It is important to look at why you are eating as well as what you are eating.  Learning to eat purposefully is essential to having a strong and healthy, mind and body for years to come.

We first need to be aware of the miracle of how the human body works with the mind. Then gather the appropriate information based on your own individual desired lifestyle changes, apply the new knowledge and your condition will change accordingly.

Being healthy truly is a choice, However, sometimes it is the changes that are most difficult to make into new habits. Your desire for health and longevity will make the journey there that much easier.
